Client Engagement Model

Many organisations
today know they have problems but just can’t seem to pin them down. Or, they know
what they want to do but can’t effectively make the transition from making their ideas a reality. This is why we developed an approach that spells out clearly the
steps required to optimise performance in targeted areas of an operation. This is
the AuraQ Engagement Model. The reason we have this model is to save time - yours
and ours, by working in a structured way that is focussed on achieving results
for
us both.
There are three stages, Assess, Plan and Optimise. Assess is usually not chargeable
whilst Plan and Optimise are. |
STAGE 1 - ASSESS
This is the first phase
and is intended to enable us both to assess where the opportunities are for working
together. Following discussions, we will concentrate on defined target business
areas that you think are working sub-optimally. We look at how the Processes, People
and Technology are combining and where there is scope to make improvements that
will lead to optimisation.
We will also work with you to establish some baseline metrics of how things are
today and what you want them to be in the future. This gives us targets against
which the success of the optimisation can be measured. We will also work with you
to develop an outline business case that includes the kind of costs involved and
the potential Return on Investment you can expect. A high level implementation strategy
is also developed so the level of financial and organisational commitment required
is identified. Finally, we deliver a deployment schedule that brings everything together in one
big plan that has ‘work streams’ related to every aspect of the Optimisation Project.
This also includes and organisational work or training and mentoring that forms
a part of the optimisation process. |
STAGE 2 - PLAN
Taking it to the
next level is where we work with you to develop a detailed set of plans to cover
the whole Optimisation Process. This phase is chargeable as it involves considerable effort and delivers valuable information that in detail, exactly what you need to
do to achieve the opimisation identified in the Assess phase.
Business Case / ROI
A Detailed Business Case includes full costings and detailed ROI analyses and benchmarks
against which decisions can be made. This is especially important where approval
is required from a board or review committee before funds can be released.
Deployment Plans
The work required to achieve Optimisation is spelt out in distinct steps and a full
design document is developed
using graphical tools that define process
and information
flows in fine detail. For any software that is required, a full development timetable
is also created so there is a degree of certainty on delivery and deployment. |
STAGE 3 - OPTIMISE
This is the final phase concentrating on Optimisation of the defined business
processes in your organisation.
This is where the actual work is done.
Simulation
Using graphical process modeling and design tools, we work with you to create or
modify processes in an iterative way to achieve the optimisation. This can be modeled
and multiple scenarios tried to ascertain the best approach. Changes are easy and
fast to make and pilots can be run to validate the outcome.
Software Development
If software is being developed, it can be generated from the business process modeller
and this enables much more rapid development that by conventional means where a
design is created by one group and actually coded by a different group. The tools
we use cut design and development time massively and accelerate time to benefit
dramatically. Once developed, new processes and software are implemented and integrated
with existing processes and software to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
Assimilation
We also train and mentor your people to ensure they understand how the new processes
and software work and how they use them to achieve the optimisation. Finally progress
is measured to ensure the original metrics and aspirations are being achieved and
where appropriate, refinements are made. |
